Over the past years it has been acknowledged in regional meetings like "CAR/SAM Regional Planning and Implementation Group (GREPECAS) Eleventh Meeting of the GREPECAS Aeronautical Information Management subgroup (AIM/SG/11)” the need to implement a Geographic Information System as a tool to support the AIM units and that actions need to be taken to be able to have the service as soon as possible, that as a first turning point of transition towards digital managed aeronautical data.
As a result of the above statement, AIS GIS COCESNA is moving forward towards that concept striving to implement a GIS that gathers all the information already provided in the AIP and adding digital imagery, digital terrain models (DTM), census data, etc all of these with the final goal to have a complete GIS that can perform data analysis that are of concern for aeronautical purposes with the complete assurance of precision, correctness and validation of the data. to enter AIS/GIS COCESNA clic on ENTER
