Since its foundation, the Agency’s organizational structure has constantly changed, keeping the balance between resource efficiency and task performance effectiveness, in order to satisfy the needs of the Central American States.

The last modification to the organizational structure was carried out on 2005. As part of these changes, areas such as Aerodromes, Air Traffic Management and Aviation Security were incorporated; by doing this, the needs of the States regarding Annexes 17 and 18 are fulfilled.
