	Search and Rescue Service (SAR) provided by COCESNA within the Central SRR is subject to the provisions in regional agreements signed by COCESNA and member countries of the Central SRR as well as international standards and recommended practices, in accordance with Article 25 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) global coordinates the efforts of member states to provide search and rescue (SAR). In short, the objective of ICAO and IMO is to provide an effective global system so that wherever you fly an aircraft or navigate a vessel, of any search and rescue services if necessary.
